MOLESCROFT RANGERS B  5  BRIDLINGTON TOWN  2

Molescroft Rangers B welcomed Bridlington Town to the Beverley Lesiure Centre and both sides held a minutes silence which was immaculately observed in memory of Thomas (Jimmy) Cawkwell the Brid Town player who tragically passed away during the week at the age of just 41. The visitors started the better of the two sides and and deservedly went ahead but by half time Bobby Burnett had brought Molescroft level to leave it 1-1 at the break. Adam Leach put Molescroft ahead with a header and they soon added another through Duncan Lawman. Brid Town responded with their second and at 3-2 it was game on with twenty minutes remaining. The home side finished the stronger of the two sides and they added two further goals as Leach with his second of the game and Neil Lee made it 5-2. The scorers for Brid Town were Jamie Osborne and Jay Wallace.
