AFC WILLERBY B  3  BRANDESBURTON  1

The top two in Division Six met at Wolfreton College as AFC Willerby B took on leaders Brandesburton. The home side came flying out of the traps and within the first ten minutes were 2-0 up after goals from Wayne Dawson who converted a cross and then Pete Collins some how managed to hit the post and his follow up effort struck both posts before Nino Birtwistle tapped home from a couple of yards out. Despite these setbacks Brandesburton slowly came into the game and they halved the deficit by half time when Simon Jones scored with a fine shot. The second half started fairly even and both sides had chances before Mike Hallett scored from close range for the hosts with twenty minutes remaining to secure the three points which sees them leapfrog Brandesburton into top spot.
