Recap

SWANLAND  5   DRUM  1

Top of the table Swanland took on Drum at a windy West Leys Road in a six pointer which was an important game for both sides. The home side were on top in the first half but they only had a Dom Bowlder goal on twenty minutes to show for their efforts. Early in the second half Chris Bagshaw doubled the hosts lead before Joe Winn pretty much made the points safe with a third. Jamie Moore did pull a goal back for Drum but they were by their own admission beaten by the much better side. A double from Matt McCoy put the gloss on the result as it ended 5-1. Special mention or Drum`s keeper Paul Leighton who made several fine saves to prevent an even heavier loss. The six points sees Swanland end the day nine points clear of the pack.
