Recap

GOOLE UNITED  3  COTTINGHAM RANGERS  3

There was a proverbial game of two halves as Goole United and Cottingham Rangers met at West Park, Goole. At half time the home were 3-0 up and looking at gaining heir first on field win of the season after goals from Regan Allen after five minutes and two goals in a minute midway through the half from Stewart Gormley and Paul Marshall. It looked all over for Cottingham but whatever they spoke about at the break certainly inspired them as they as they scored twice in the first ten minutes of the second half and completed the comeback with twenty minutes to go with their goals coming from Jim Layton, Allan Tate from the penalty spot and Rich Murphy. Both sides then had chances to get all three points but there were no further goals as it ended 3-3.
