RECKITTS  0  WATERLOO  2

When Reckitts met Waterloo at Hull University something was likely to give as both sides were unbeaten going into the game. Unfortunately for Ref Ronnie McNaughton it was his hamstring that gave out after just fifteen minutes, so Dave Start had to take up the whistle.  The home side started well and they hit the bar twice in the opening minutes but it was Waterloo who scored first through Jamie Hardy and they led by this goal at half time. In the second half despite several chances going the way of Reckitts they were unable breakdown a well drilled visitors defence and they made the game safe when Dave Brooke made it 2-0 and condemned the homes side to their first defeat of the season.
