GOOLE UNITED  3  LIV SUPPLIES 5

Goole entertained Liv Supplies at West Park on a heavy pitch and they probably were the better of the two sides in the opening forty five minutes but they went into half time level at 2-2. The home side took the lead when Paul Marshall headed home when he was left unmarked. Liv were soon level when Callum Dransfield scored and a couple of minutes later they took the lead when a Goole defender headed a cross into his own net but Goole equalised before the break when Marshall got his second of the game. In the second half Liv started to get on top and Dave Palmer scored with his first touch after coming on and he went on to complete a fine hat trick to put Liv 5-2 up before Chris Lattimore reduced the arrears in the last couple of minutes. This win sees Liv take over at the top of the table a point clear of Reckitts who didn`t play today.
