Recap

Priory started the better of the two sides and missed a couple of opportunities before Gilberdyke Phoenix got their game together. The visitors opened the scoring on twenty five minutes through Dave Stevens and they led by this goal at half time. In the second half Gilberdyke doubled their lead early on when Dave McMahon scored and this seemed to knock the wind out of Priory`s sails as the visitors scored four unanswered goals to run out comfortable 6-0 winners. The other goals for Gilberdyke came from Neil Stanley with 2, a Tony Clarkson penalty and a spectacular own goal.
