Recap

Molescroft Rangers A went into their home game with Lord Nelson still looking for their first points of the season and the wait goes on. After a goal less first half Nelson took control and scored three times and it would have been many more had it not been for a brilliant display from Molescroft keeper John Uzzell in what was his last game for the club. The goals for Nelson came from Kev Wildbore from a corner, Dave Edge came off the bench to nutmeg a defender and lob the keeper from 30 yards before Gary Marshall added the third direct from a corner.
