Recap

Cotttingham Rangers and Lord Nelson resumed their rivalry at Hull University and they played out an enthralling game which saw six goals and the points in the end shared. Nelson went ahead after just five minutes through Luke Buxton but Cottingham levelled fifteen minutes later when Allan Tate scored. Nelson regained the lead through Nick Foster before Lee Benham from the penalty spot again equalized for the home side to leave an entertaining game level at 2-2 at half time. For a third time in the match Nelson went in front when Andy Austin ran onto a Foster pass to make it 3-2 and looked to have secured the points although Cottingham felt he was off side. As the game moved into the last minute a Rich Murphy header rescued a point for Cottingham as the game finished 3-3.
