25th October 2026 Preview

A second successive Sunday home game for Hull City means that there is a reduced programme this weekend. There are fixtures in the Premier Division and Divisions Two and Six.  Don`t forget that the clocks go back 1 hour on Saturday night.

PREMIER DIVISION

BOTTESFORD TOWN   V  BLACKBURN LEISURE A  BOTTESFORD TOWN FC, ONTARIO ROAD, BOTTESFORD- REFEREE STEPHEN BALDWIN MATCH POSTPONED TO BE RE-ARRANGED BY 22ND NOVEMBER

Bottesford Town entertain Blackburn Leisure A looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season against the bottom placed side. The hosts drew 3-3 at Waterloo last time out. For Blackies this game comes on the back of their depleted side going down 8-0 at home to Liv two weeks ago.

SYMONDS & GREENHAM  V  WATERLOO    SIR HENRY COOPER PARK, ORCHARD PARK- REFEREE KEVIN PICK

It is second versus third at Sir Henry Cooper Park as Symonds and Greenham face up to Waterloo. Symonds have won both of their games so far this season the most recent being a 2-1 win at Swanland A. Waterloo went down to Liv by the only goal of the game last Sunday and will want to avoid back to back defeats.

WESTELLA WILLERBY   V  LIV  HILLTOP SPORTS PARK, WILLERBY- REFEREE ELLIS DOUGLAS

Westella Willerby play just their second game of the season when they welcome Liv to Hilltop on Sunday. The hosts last played a league game way back in mid September when they lost 3-2 at  Symonds & Greenham. For Liv it is a second game in successive weeks after their 1-0 win again Waterloo last Sunday which saw them go top of the table.

DIVISION TWO

BOTANIC FIRE   V  NEWLAND   MATCH POSTPONED- REARRANGED FOR 1ST NOVEMBER

GREAT DRIFFIELD A   V  BRIDLINGTON TOWN ROVERS   CEMETERY LANE, DRIFFIELD- REFEREE NEIL WOODCOCK

Great Driffield A host near neighbours Bridlington Town Rovers looking for a second successive win. They won 4-3 at Howden two weeks ago to get their first win of the campaign. Brid have found the going tough after their promotion and still seek their first win, they lost 5-2 at home against Preston United two weeks ago.

NORTHERN WANDERERS A   V  HEDON RANGERS   MALET LAMBERT SCHOOL, JAMES RECKITT AVENUE- REFEREE PETER COLLINS MATCH POSTPONED- CONCEDED BY HEDON RANGERS WHO ARE UNABLE TO RAISE A TEAM

Northern Wanderers A who are one of four teams who are joint top of the table entertain Hedon Rangers at Malet Lambert. They came back from 2-0 down at Hodgsons to run out 6-2 winners. Hedon were also involved in an eight goal game after they drew 4-4 at home against Newland so this is likely to be a good open encounter.

PRESTON UNITED  V  HODGSONS  ADDISON ROAD, PRESTON- REFEREE ANDREW MCNAUGHT MATCH POSTPONED- UNFIT PITCH

Two more of the joint leaders meet at Addison Road as Preston United host Hodgsons. Preston won 5-2 at Bridlington Town Rovers in their last game whilst Hodgsons let a two lead slip before going down 6-2 at home to Northern Wanderers A. Who ever wins the game could well end the day top of the table.

DIVISION SIX

AFC WILLERBY B   V  BARHAM      MATCH POSTPONED- REARRANGED FOR 1ST NOVEMBER

EASINGTON UNITED   V  PRIORY    LOW FARM, BECK STREET, EASINGTON- REFEREE GED STEAD

Priory also played Willerby in their most recent game in a double header league and cup last Sunday winning 4-1 which was their first win of the season. Games between the sides usually produce plenty of goals as Easington`s 5-3 win a double header back in April shows.

EAST HULL SPORTING   V  LITTLE WEIGHTON   ANDREW MARVELL SCHOOL, BARHAM ROAD- REFEREE GARY HALLETT

East Hull Sporting who  have started life in the Veterans League in the best possible way winning all three of their games so far take on Little Weighton at Andrew Marvell this Sunday.
