DIVISION THREE
AAK S+S A V NEWLAND BISHOP BURTON COLLEGE- REFEREE PAUL BROOKS
AAK S+S A will want to bounce back from the 14-0 hammering they suffered at the hands of South Cave two weeks ago when they welcome Newland to Bishop Burton College. Newland went down 2-3 at home to Northern Wanderers A in their last game. The two sides need to respond to their recent setbacks and a good open game is in prospect.
MALT SHOVEL SELBY V BRIDLINGTON TOWN ROVERS A DENNISON ROAD, SELBY- REFEREE ELLIS DOUGLAS
Malt Shovel Selby return to action after a month without a game with a tough looking task against top of the table Bridlington Town Rovers A at Dennison Road. The home side were beaten 5-2 at home by AAK S+S A in their last game whilst Brid beat Liv Supplies 4-2 to retain top spot. Another hard one to call but will be favourites to return home with the points.
NORTHERN WANDERERS A V LIV SUPPLIES WINIFRED HOLTBY SCHOOL, MIDMERE AVENUE-REFEREE PHIL GRIFFIN MATCH POSTPONED- UNFIT PITCH
Winifred Holtby School sees Northern Wanderers A host Liv Supplies with the hosts looking to make it three wins in a row. They won 3-2 at Newland a fortnight back whilst Liv went down 4-2 at Bridlington Town Rovers A although they put in a decent performance and they will need to replicate that to come away with anything on Sunday. This is the first ever meeting between the sides with the home side favourites.
SOUTH CAVE V HORNSEA TOWN SOUTH HUNSLEY SCHOOL, MELTON- REFEREE JOHN SUTTON
South Cave will go into their home game against Hornsea Town in a confident mood after their 14-0 win at AAK S+S A two weeks ago. For Hornsea this is their first game for a month since losing 6-1 at Liv Supplies and they will need to see a massive improvement on that performance to stand any chance of getting something from the game. Last season the corresponding fixture saw Cave win 7-0 is that a foretaste of what might happen on Sunday.
DIVISION FOUR
AFC NORTH V NORTH FERRIBY SPORTING RWB PLAYING FIELD, CUMBRIAN WAY, NORTH BRANSHOLME- REFEREE NEIL HAMBLY MATCH POSTPONED UNFIT PITCH
After winning their previous three games and moving up to joint top of the table AFC North will go into their home game against North Ferriby Sporting at the RWB confident of making it four in a row. The visitors have lost all three games so far but have been competitive in all of them and will give the hosts a game and if they can cut out the defensive errors and convert the many chance they create they will have a chance.
BLACKBURN LEISURE B V HOLME ROVERS SKILLINGS LANE, BROUGH- REFEREE STEVEN BALDWIN
Blackburn Leisure B entertain Holme Rovers and with the sides separated by just a single point in the table this should be a close game. Blackies last played a month ago when they lost a seven goal thriller at Gilberdyke Phoenix 4-3. The visitors also played Gilberdyke in their last game a couple of weeks ago drawing 3-3 when a last minute equaliser prevented them taking all three points.
BRANDESBURTON V BRIGG TOWN CATWICK LANE, BRANDESBURTON- REFEREE ANDREW MCNAUGHT
Brandesburton who sit proudly at the top of the table play their first game since the beginning of October when they host Brigg Town at Catwick Lane. They beat North Ferriby Sporting 3-2 whilst Brigg also played Ferriby in their last game winning 5-2 at South Hunsley School which was their second successive win after a poor start to the season and this promises to be a good game.
GILBERDYKE PHOENIX V BILTON INGS PLAYING FIELD, GILBERDYKE- REFEREE ADAM DEAKIN
Gilberdyke Phoenix welcome newcomers Bilton to Ings View looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season. Phoenix rescued a point at Holme Rovers with a last gasp goal to draw 3-3. Bilton after an opening day victory have found the going tough and they are run of three defeats in a row, the most recent being a 7-0 home defeat against AFC North and they will need to improve dramatically on that performance if they are to get anything on Sunday.
DIVISION SIX
AFC WILLERBY D V BARHAM WOLFRETON COLLEGE, WELL LANE, WILLERBY- REFEREE GEORG DELA SAGA JEFF SMITH
AFC Willerby D take on Barham at Wolfreton College in a game between two sides in their first season in the Veterans League. The home side have fared the better so far and they sit in third place but they suffered a surprise 5-0 home defeat against Molescroft Rangers B last time out. Barham on the other hand recorded their first ever win 5-3 at Priory so ghey will go into the game in a confident mood.
EASINGTON UNITED V PRIORY LOW FARM, BECK STREET, EASINGTON- REFEREE ALLAN COPE MATCH POSTPONED- UNFIT PITCH
Old rivals Easington United and Priory meet at Low Farm both having lost their previous game. The home side were beaten by Swanland B 6-4 whilst Priory went down 5-3 at home to Barham. There is no chance that this is going to be a dull 0-0 draw as both sides have had defensive issues so far this season. The corresponding fixture last season ended in a 3-3 draw and it could be a similar affair this weekend.
HEDON RANGERS B V SWANLAND B SOUTH HOLDERNESS COLLEGE, PRESTON- REFEREE GED STEAD
It is second versus first at South Holderness as Hedon Rangers B entertain Swanland B. The joint top scorers go into the game on the back of high scoring matches last time out. Hedon drew 4-4 with Tickton whilst Swanland went top of the table after a 5-4 home win over Easington United. This game has the chance of being a wide open encounter which can go either way with the winners if their is one ending the day top of the table.
LITTLE WEIGHTON V TICKTON WHITE GAP ROAD, LITTLE WEIGHTON– REFEREE GARY HALLETT MATCH NOW BEING PLAYED AT BEVERLEY LONGCROFT SCHOOL
Littel Weighton go into their first ever game against Tickton at White Gap Road and their first for a month after losing 5-2 at Hedon Rangers B. Tickton`s last game was also against Hedon Rangers and they did better by getting a point after a 4-4 draw. The sides are separated in the table by one point and one place so this should be an even game which is a difficult one to call.
