Recap

A goal inside the first ninety seconds settled a hard fought end to end affair at Wolfreton College as Hanson Electrical B just managed to edge out AAK S+S. It was a fine goal too as Hanson strung together at least a dozen passes before Kev Hodgson converted a left wing cross from close range. The early setback seemed to affect the visitors and it took them a while to settle but after 15 minutes they created a great opportunity to equalise but they couldn`t take  it and they nearly paid the price when their keeper let a shot go through his grasp but it hit the bar and bounced back into his grateful arms. However he played really well after that bit of luck dealt with all that Hanson could throw at him. Both sides played some neat football but the final ball or shot lacked quality as both sides continually gave the ball away. The second half was pretty much the same with chances being fashioned but not taken and both sides were guilty of a bad miss each. First Hanson missed an open goal and then with time running out AAK had a glorious chance of grabbing a point but the shot flew way over the bar and Hanson held out to make it two wins from two.
