At last years AGM, it was discussed about the feasibility of starting a league for players over 50. At the time we said that we would look in to the idea and after some consultation and discussions, we would like to find out through expressions of interest, how many players would be interested.
The format (although it would be 11 a side), number of teams, when played etc has not been confirmed, although we have had initial discussions with a few teams who have suggested they would be interested in entering a team.
This will not affect your ability to still play in the current set up, as it would be an addition to the league structure. Also, you do not have to currently play in a team as we would like to give the opportunity to as many people as possible.
If you are interested please complete the short form below and this will help us to move this forward. Once we have an idea of numbers we will take it back to this years AGM for further discussions.
Hopefully hear from anybody who wants players
I am after a team
I am interested in playing in over 50s league
I used to play in veterens league, but as now 57, find myself too old to play against players over 35. I would definitely play in an over 50’s league tho.
